The Frey Foundation Solo Flight Scholarship is a need-based scholarship that supports qualified students who seek to solo an airplane while participating in the WMAA flight training program. The Secchia Family Service Scholarship is a flight training scholarship offered to juniors ahead of their senior year that awards students who are pursuing an aviation career rooted in service such as the military, mission field, law enforcement, AeroMed, air ambulance, or other.

The David H. Jett Aviation scholarship is awarded to juniors ahead of their senior year in the flight program at West Michigan Aviation Academy. This scholarship is established to award any motivated student working toward their goal of becoming a career aviator. The recipient must demonstrate passion, dedication, and a commitment to pursuing an aviation-related degree beyond high school. This scholarship is intended to encourage and facilitate the interests of students currently striving to achieve this goal. Awarded funds may only be used for private pilot flight training at WMAA.

Aviation Influence, Inc. (AVi) is a registered nonprofit organization founded in 2019 with a mission to serve young people in discovering STEM and aviation through outreach. The AVi Aviator Scholarship is a competitive scholarship offered to current juniors in the flight program at West Michigan Aviation Academy. The scholarship is established to award students based on aviation merit who are pursuing a career in aviation beyond high school. Awarded funds may only be used for private pilot flight training at WMAA.
